MANON BIERNACKI
Manon is a Parisian Illustrator who has recently moved to Vancouver. She creates pieces surrounding themes of nature and people from across the world.
I immediately fell in love with Manon’s work when I saw it online. I find her striking use of colour to be utterly gorgeous. The composition and subjects of her illustrations - particularly the recent oil paintings she has produced - leave me staring in awe.
I am very eager to own a couple of her prints, and look forward to seeing what she paints next.
Update: I recently learnt about Manon’s use of Artificial Intelligence / Technology in the early stages of her work. My understanding is that she uses technology to help develop compositions and subject matters which she then interprets and expands upon in the painting stage. Following this knowledge, my opinion of the work was altered slightly. I am still impressed by the painting skill Manon possesses but am unsure now how much of the visuals are her own ideas.
